John Stamos and Lori Loughlin will always be "Full House's" Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky to us, but the actress used Throwback Thursday as an opportunity to remind fans the two were adorable together before the hit sitcom ever aired.

"Two teenagers long before Full house. @johnstamos #generalhospital #theedgeofnight," Loughlin captioned an old photo of the pair.

Clearly, it didn't take "Full House" for these two to discover their chemistry, or to keep it going after all this time. Stamos even said last year that his former co-star "could be the one that got away." (Have mercy!)

Before the pair found fame on the hit late '80s-early '90s sitcom, both had parts on soap operas. Loughlin appeared a few times on "The Edge of Night" as Jody Travis in 1983, and Stamos played singer Blackie Parrish on "General Hospital" from 1982 to 1984.

Though "Full House" went off the air in 1995, the duo have appeared together over the years. Perhaps most notable was when "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" recreated the sitcom's Smash Club and had Jesse and The Rippers perform, with Aunt Becky coming on stage to give her small-screen hubby a kiss after the retro set.

Their love will obviously last "Forever."
