Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein spend plenty of time together shooting their comedy series "Portlandia," but it wasn't until they stopped by TODAY that Armisen decided to dig into Brownstein's social media past.
Brownstein, who was a member of influential rock band Sleater-Kinney, recently tweeted that she'd discovered she can substitute the word "insomnia" for "Victoria" in the classic song by the Kinks, and that she blames the discovery for her difficulty falling asleep.
Brownstein encouraged Armisen to perform his rendition of the song before explaining its contribution to her own personal insomnia.
Armisen also asked Brownstein about another pair of recent tweets from her timeline.
