The mystery, suspense and drama are all building ahead of Super 8 heading into theaters this weekend.
J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg's suspense thriller about a...um, well, we aren't really sure what it's about. The film is so tightly under wraps all we can discern is that a potentially alien force is unleashed on a small Ohio town following a disastrous train crash. Naturally, it's up to a curious group of kids with a knack for filmmaking to get to the bottom of the ensuing strange events and government cover-up.
But it isn't all big explosions and extraterrestrials. There are actually some tender moments, like star Elle Fanning using her best zombie impression to make costar Joel Courtney fall in love with her. (It works.)
