On Monday morning, TODAY offered a First Look at the upcoming movie "The Martian," with Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain leading an all-star cast.
Damon plays Mark Watney, an astronaut who's presumed dead after his crew flees Mars to escape a violent storm. With a month's worth of supplies and a fear that no rescue mission would be possible for four years, Watney is determined to survive on his own.
In addition to Damon and Chastain, the impressive cast includes Sean Bean, Jeff Daniels, Mackenzie Davis, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Donald Glover, Kate Mara, Michael Peña, Sebastian Stan and Kristen Wiig. It'll be particularly interesting to see if Glover and Wiig, best known for their comedic chops, get a chance to do some dramatic heavy lifting.

"The Martian" is slated for wide theatrical release Nov. 25.
