Carolina Herrera, Tracy Reese and Monique Lhuillier all showed their collections under the Fashion Week tents at Lincoln Center today--but there was only one designer on everybody's lips: Victoria Beckham.

So why was one guest brought to tears by Beckham? (Hint: it did not involve the very preggers Posh breaking out in a chorus of "Wannabe.")

The ex-Spice Girl and skinny fashionista got serious raves after she showed a collection of about 30 pieces--perfectly tailored coats and dresses--to an audience gathered at at Upper East Side townhouse yesterday.

Victoria herself came out as a surprise, sitting with a tiny microphone and describing each piece and how it was made as the models made their way down a small runway.

"It was beyond perfection. Beyond," said one guest who told E! News she was so surprised by the looks, she cried. "Everything was tailored and cut perfectly.

"Everybody's talking about it, she's legit, the real deal."

Meanwhile, at today's festivities, you couldn't take a step without bumping into a Real Housewife of New York and/or New Jersey.

For instance, Jerseyite Caroline Manzo was perched front row at Tracy Reese, across from Gabrielle Union, Veronica Webb and Julia Stiles.

"I was invited by Monique," a very skinny Manzo told us. She also talked the upcoming season of the show, currently being filmed.

"I have been to many, but something [filming] got in the way," Manzo said. "We have some new faces this season, and you know what, it's a crazy mix. I've been told it's a lot funnier this time around."

Manzo, wearing a form-fitting Tracy Reese dress, also told us she doesn't miss her sister on the show because she sees her in real life and also hinted at some battles with bankrupt wife and table-flipper Teresa Giudice.

"Oh Teresa! You're gonna have to watch and see, there's a tremendous dynamic going on," Manzo said. "My beautiful daughter and sons are doing great, they're loves lives come into play. Interesting things go on this year."

Julia Stiles, dressed in a beautiful blue low cut Tracy Reese dress, managed a quick change into a plum Monique Lhuillier and hurried over to catch that show after Reese.

The actress told us she is excited to star in Boradway's Fat Pig next, with comedian Dane Cook. "It starts soon, I play Josh Hamilton's ex-girlfriend. We start next month."

As for the show, she called it "awesome."

"It was really beautiful," she told us afterwards.

Last night a SoHo House party ended the day, where guests gathered for a 3-D screening of Marc Bouwer's new collection, where Star Jones turned up and made a big admission.

"He's one of my favorite designers to wear," Jones said, "He's been dressing me since I was 250 pounds. At this point I can wear anyone I want, but I always go back to him."

David Spade was there supporting flirting with Selita Ebanks and Johnny Weir, Giudice, Dina Manzo, Sonja Morgan, Alex and Simon McCord all turned out as well.

"They [the Housewives] are here every day," said one backstager. "They show up to every show, if it's not one of them, it's another. I don't know how they do it, they're literally here all day hitting shows, then at the parties. They've certainly been around more than the actresses this year, it's all about the Housewives."

New York Housewife Jill Zarin even played model, walking in the Zang Toi show, the last show of the day yesterday.

Some of the Housewives have brought along their owh flipcams, as the Fashion Week producers aren't thrilled with reality shows being filmed in certain areas of the tents.

"The designers and actors and high profile guests invited do not want to worry if they're going to show up on a reality show," one insider told E! News. "Cameras are not allowed in certain areas."

But based on what we've seen, it like the Housewives are making do just fine.
