A 30-year-old man who was attacked at an Atlanta rock concert headlined by Korn has died, the band said in a statement Wednesday.
Andy Richardson, 30, was kept on life support at a local hospital until Tuesday so that recipients for his organs could be found.
He was beaten up by two men during a set by the Deftones at Atlanta’s Hi-Fi Buys Amphitheatre Sunday. Police say they have identified “persons of interest,” but have yet to make any arrests.
“Korn are appalled at the actions of these men and are imploring anyone who witnessed this senseless act or has any information about the attack to please immediately come forward by contacting local authorities,” the band said.
