Faith Hill is adding an exciting new title to her resume: executive producer!
The country singer announced the news that she'll be producing a new daytime talk show — featuring fellow musician Kellie Pickler as a host — via Twitter Wednesday.
"I’m so excited about our new talk show! Can’t wait to share it with you," Hill, 48, wrote.
The star's website describes the series as "an informative, Southern-inspired and fun-filled celebration of everyday living and activities," which promises "insights from top tastemakers and experts in everything from cooking and gardening to entertaining and home design and beyond."
Hill is quoted as calling Pickler "a woman who has so many talents."
“Kellie is smart, compassionate, funny, quick-witted and has a heart for service — the work she’s done with the USO and our service men and women is no secret," Hill said. "She possesses the ability to reach far beyond the camera and into the hearts of people, allowing you to feel immediately connected to her. There was no question in my mind that she should be a big part of this show.”
The talk show will be shot in a "modern farmhouse-style" home in Nashville, and Hill will be working with former “Oprah” co-executive producer and OWN executive Lisa Erspamer, Sandbox Entertainment’s Jason Owen and Legendary Television.
We can't wait to see what the yet-to-be-named show has in store.
