The Los Angeles Times reports that the Supreme Court rejected the actor's appeal today, making his 36-month prison sentence still active.

The actor was found guilty on three counts of federal tax evasion in 2008. He tried appealing the charges up until December 2010, where he was ordered to start serving his sentence.

However, it only took eight days before Snipes asked to be let out on bail and his attorneys pursued another appeal. Bail was not granted, and the appeal was declined.
