Candy doesn’t grow on trees, and that’s a fact pageant princess Kailia knows all too well. Good thing the oh-so-energetic 5-year-old has a plan for securing the sweet stuff, which she reveals in the mid-season return of “Toddlers & Tiaras.”
In an exclusive sneak peek TLC provided to TODAY.com, Kailia’s dad took a break from allowing the tot to drive his pickup truck (with a little help), and asked her to share her favorite part of pageant life.
“Um, winning,” she said without even thinking it over. “‘Cause I like to win moneeey!”
Kailia might sound a little like a certain dollar-makes-me-holler “Toddlers & Tiaras” star from the past. But unlike Alana, aka Honey Boo-Boo Child, Kailia knows just what she wants to spend that moolah on.
“Yeah, I’ll buy candy,” she said, dropping her usual high-pitched squeal and adding some exaggerated neck bobbing.
With one Ultimate Grand Supreme title already behind her, she might just have a shot at raking in a bunch of treats.
"Toddlers & Tiaras" airs Wednesday night at 10 p.m. on TLC.
