No matter how many episodes of "Hoarders" or "Hoarding Buried Alive" that you've seen, you've likely never seen anything like the collection of newspapers, containers and debris that filled almost every bit of space in (and outside of) Richard Wallace's sprawling home.

The resident of Westcott, England, made headlines last year when he went to Crown Court to defend his right to keep his mess after others from his village complained. After all, there was enough of it that it could easily be seen from Google Earth. He won that case.

But as an upcoming TLC special reveals, even though Wallace has the right to keep his hoard, he doesn't really want to anymore.

In this exclusive sneak peek of "Obsessive Compulsive Hoarder," Wallace begins the long process of cleaning up his estate and accepting just how bad it is.

"Truth be told, it's far, far worse than I ever envisaged," he explained. "It's really quite shocking. ... Now it's all lain bare like this, I can see the stupidity of it and this medical condition known as hoarding. There is a physiological problem."

After giving it more thought, Wallace cried, adding, "My mother would be absolutely horrified."

The home originally belonged to Wallace's parents, who are now deceased.

See the full extent of Wallace's mess and how much of it he was able to put behind him when "Obsessive Compulsive Hoarder" airs Feb. 28 at 10 p.m. on TLC.
