Eminem has reunited with producer and rap legend Dr. Dre for his upcoming return album, “Relapse,” according to Billboard.

“Me and Dre are back in the lab like the old days, man,” Eminem told Billboard in an interview conducted via e-mail. “Just him banging away on tracks and me getting that little spark that makes me write to it.”

According to the magazine, Eminem said Dr. Dre halted work on his own album, “Detox,” to help out the Oscar and Grammy winner.

“I don’t have chemistry like that with anyone else as far as producers go — not even close,” Eminem wrote of their working relationship. “Dre will end up producing the majority of the tracks on ‘Relapse.’ We are up to our old mischievous ways … let’s just leave it at that.”

Eminem’s return to the music world has sparked a host of interest — and, some leaks.

“Crack A Bottle” was an unfinished cut from “Relapse” that found its way online, much to the dismay of the Detroit rapper.

“(It left me) really heated,” Eminem wrote over the leak. “It wasn’t close to finished, and it even has me doing guide vocals for Dre as a suggestion of how he could lay his verses down. It’s like someone catches you peeping in your window before you got the Spider-Man costume all zipped up! Nobody is supposed to see that. We are gonna finish it up though and get it out there how it’s supposed to be.”

The rapper also noted that, despite rumors from producers Swizz Beats, there won’t be a follow-up to his 2000 hit “Stan” on “Relapse.”

“There isn’t a ‘Stan 2,’ and there won’t be,” Eminem wrote. “Stan drove his car off a bridge and I’m not writing a song as Stan’s ghost. That would just be really corny.”

While he noted he is extremely immersed in his recording duties, Eminem does have a mini-break scheduled — he’ll be helping 50 Cent, one of the signees to his Shady Records roster, finish the album “Before I Self Destruct.”

“He’s still working on it and getting back together with me and Dre next week to finish up,” Eminem wrote. “I have a couple of tracks on there with him. It’s sick.”
