Ellie Kemper was destined for stardom.
Long before the 35-year-old actress was cracking up audiences on "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" and "The Office," she was channeling her talent into her own homemade movies — and she's sharing her childhood acting glory.
Kemper, who is hanging out with the TODAY gang during the 9 a.m. hour this summer, shared a childhood movie she made in 1992 with friends with TODAY Monday. The gem, entitled "Man Under the Stairs," features Kemper terrified of — you guessed it — a man under the stairs.
No word yet on when you can expect the movie to hit a theater near you.
