Despite earlier reports that claimed David Duchovny’s sex addiction only involved Internet interactions, the National Enquirer alleges the “Californication” star cheated in the flesh.

According to one Enquirer source, David cheated on wife Téa Leoni many times over the course of their marriage, and only admitted to the affairs after she grew suspicious and confronted him.

“(David) said Téa gave him an ultimatum: Get treatment or our marriage is over,” an insider revealed. “She felt it was ruining their marriage and affecting their kids.”

The actor is now enrolled in a 35-day treatment program at The Meadows rehab center in Arizona.

Before marrying Téa in 1997, David spoke to Playgirl magazine and denied his then-rumored struggle with sex addiction.

“I’m not a sex addict,” David said at the time. “I have never been to those meetings. It’s hurtful to my family and if I was involved with a woman in a monogamous relationship, it would be hurtful to her.”

I don’t know if I’m going to have kids again, so I want it to be a beautiful experience. I don’t want to have any drama. I want to just be smiling every day.’”

They won’t talk to her.” … Kid Rock wants to follow in Amy Winehouse’s footsteps — musically, that is. “The only thing I’ve been listening to lately is Amy Winehouse,” he told the Daily Star. “She’s got me back into all that ‘old skool’ soul thang. Her album is so great, it’s made me go through all my old Stax and Motown records again. I’d really like to add a little of that flavor to my music.”
