Inspired by Ellen DeGeneres' ability to get celebs such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Johnny Depp to admit some previously unknown secrets about themselves on her show by playing "Never Have I Ever," the TODAY anchors decided on Friday to play their own version of the game.
And the results were hilarious.
Just what did Matt Lauer, Carson Daly, Willie Geist, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and guest Ryan Seacrest have to say for themselves? Let's find out!
Have any of them ever had a sexy dream about their co-anchors?
Many had, but some hadn't. "I'm actually offended at this, on behalf of every woman on this cast!" cried Guthrie (who was one of those who'd held up a card reading "I have"). "Really, never?"
"Not yet," hedged Daly.
Have any of them used their celebrity to get out of a speeding ticket?
Many had, but some hadn't. "I have," said Seacrest. "Strangely enough, I happened to be driving Simon Cowell's car at the time. Long story, but I have."
"Simon was in the trunk," quipped Lauer.
Have any of them ever been drunk on the air?
Daly, Geist and Lauer said yes! "It was a long night," chuckled Lauer.
Have any of them seen each other in the buff?
Perhaps in a nod to their Olympics exploits (like those very form-fitting luge outfits) both Lauer and Roker 'fessed up that they had.
"I've seen Al, several times," laughed Lauer.
"We weren't at work!" joked Roker.
Be sure to watch the whole clip for more revelations. Never did we ever expect these kind of answers!
