Drew Barrymore is adjusting to the challenges of caring for a newborn and a toddler, and admits in a new People cover story — in which she shows off baby girl Frankie — that "it's a juggling act."
The actress and husband Will Kopelman welcomed their second daughter on April 22. She joins big sister Olive, who is 20 months old.
Barrymore, 39, told People that her recovery was quicker this time around. "I knew that I have two kids to take care of now and just kicked my own butt to get back into the swing of things immediately."
She does admit that it's a challenge when the girls are "awake or asleep at different times, or awake at the same time."
Big sister Olive loves Frankie "and just wants to hang out with her all the time," Barrymore said, admitting that she wanted that for her first daughter because she would have liked to have had a sibling in her own life.
The new issue of People, on newsstands Friday, promises more of the exclusive interview and Barrymore's family photos.
