Dolly Parton personally delivered some exciting news to one very happy 7-year-old this weekend.

The country legend told young actress Alyvia Lind that she would be portraying Parton in NBC's upcoming biopic "Coat of Many Colors," which tells the story of the singer's upbringing.

"What we're really here to do is to announce that you have been chosen to play little Dolly in the movie," Parton told Alyvia during her call-back audition.

The adorable girl can be seen covering her mouth in delight over the sweet surprise.

Alyvia, who will turn 8 later this month and was most recently seen in Lifetime's "A Deadly Adoption," will play Parton at age 9.

This isn't the first time we've seen Parton bring joy to a young fan. In March, the beloved musician spent time with a 12-year-old boy with Down syndrome at a restaurant in her Dollywood theme park, dueting with him on several of her greatest hits.
