Marc Jacobs thinks there's something rotten about Justin Bieber's new fragrance, Someday. Namely, the style maven claims the Biebs' bottle is practically a twin to Jacobs' scent Lola.

So what is Jacobs going to do about it?

Absolutely nothing.

Bieber launched his perfume two weeks ago, featuring a fancy bottle with a pretty plastic layered flower that bore an uncanny resemblance to Jacobs' Lola, which has been on shelves for some time.

"I received Google alerts about people saying it was derivative," the 48-year-old genius designer told Women's Wear Daily.

Jacobs said that initially he considered suing Team Bieber for stealing the design from Lola, adding that parent company Coty asked him if they should take it that far.

"I said 'You know what? Let everyone else say what they want,' " said Jacobs. "We're not going to do anything about it."

When asked on the overt similarities between Someday and Lola Jacobs played coy.

"I look around the room and I look at the work we've done and a quote I always bastardize but I really believe in, is something [Coco] Chanel said: 'He who insists on his own creativity has no memory.' "

Bieber's perfume, which will sell for $35-$55, was announced with huge fanfare. But, copycat or not, to the singer's credit, all proceeds from the sales of the floral scent will be earmarked for his favorite charities, including Pencils of Promise and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Perhaps that's why Jacobs didn't cause such a stink.
