Dale Earnhardt Jr. knows cars, but that doesn't mean he gets along with all of them. In a new "Funny or Die" video released this week, Earnhardt takes on David Hasselhoff's iconic "Knight Rider" role — only this time, talking car KITT is cranky.
In the spoof, KITT lectures the NASCAR star for driving too fast, backs away from danger, insults Earnhardt's date, and tattles to his mother when he eats a fast-food burger.
Finally, Earnhardt is able to sneak away from KITT and speed off in his beloved No. 88 Chevrolet SS.
"Oh, I missed you buddy," he exclaims to the car.
