The Bloom isn’t off the road.

Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office, said Friday it will not prosecute Orlando Bloom, who was involved in a minor car accident earlier this month. Robison said there is “insufficient evidence.”

The 30-year-old actor told police he was being chased by paparazzi as he left a nightclub in the early morning hours of Oct. 12. When one photographer made a sudden lane change, Bloom swerved into some parked cars, injuring two passengers in his vehicle.

Bloom, star of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies, wasn’t injured. There was no evidence of alcohol or drug use.

Bloom’s publicist, Robin Baum, didn’t immediately respond to an e-mail message seeking comment.
