Teen idol Justin Bieber made headlines for his recurring character on “CSI,” but according to show star Marg Helgenberger, the big news was Bieber’s off-screen antics.
“I mean, I suppose I shouldn’t be saying this,” the actress stated in a Europe 1 radio interview, “but he was kind of a brat. … He was very nice to me. But he locked one of the producers in a closet. Yes, and he put his fist through a cake that was on the craft services table.”
Other than his alleged bratty behavior, Helgenberger had praise for the wannabe actor — sort of.
"I am pretty open to whoever comes on the show," she said. "If someone is a jerk, that bothers me. If they're a so-so actor, it doesn't bother me. (Bieber) is actually better than you'd think."

Update: Bieber has since responded via Twitter -- not calling out Helgenberger by name, but saying "it's kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you." He later added, "dont spread gossip and dont spread rumors about others...im a kid and i know that."
