The Hidden Valley Ranch dressing folks have got to be speed-dialing Courteney Cox's phone right about now.

The "Cougar Town" star appears on Anderson Cooper's syndicated talk show "Anderson" Tuesday to discuss her series and her relationship with husband David Arquette, but she also powered down part of a bowl of her favorite salad topper.

Turns out Cox loves Hidden Valley Ranch dressing so much that just using it on salads or as a dip for veggies isn't enough. When host Anderson Cooper provided her with a giant bowl of the stuff, she couldn't resist drinking some of it straight.

And restaurants, don't brag up your chef-crafted, all-organic versions of the stuff to Cox. She told the host that when restaurants tell her their ranch dressing is homemade, that's not what she wants to hear. "I'm like, 'Wrong answer,'" she said. "I want Hidden Valley."

Cox also told the host that she and husband Arquette, from whom she is separated, still have a good relationship, but that daughter Coco, 7, is concerned about mom's feelings as Arquette moves on with other women.

"She says things like, 'Mom, I don't want you to get hurt, but daddy has a girlfriend," Cox told Cooper. "Obviously she'd like to see us back together because all kids do, but she understands that we're OK, that we love each other and we will always be a family."

Cox's interview with Cooper airs on "Anderson" Feb. 21. Check listings for local stations and air times.
