Attorneys for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were back in court on Monday morning, as the couple’s high-profile custody battle rages on.
Among the items expected to be discussed include the custody arrangement for the holidays, verification that both parents have completed the court-ordered parenting course and the results of Britney’s drug tests.
However, the most significant development may come when Britney’s court-appointed monitor submits an official report on Britney’s performance as a parent.
While the monitor has already provided both attorneys a copy of the report, this will be the first time it is presented to the court commissioner.
The actual hearing to go over the monitor’s evaluation is scheduled for Dec. 18, when the commissioner will likely rule based on the report.
Other matters expected to be addressed include Britney’s driving, including the possible introduction of the video of her running the red light, as well as the presence of Shane Partridge, the Splash videographer who captured the incident.
Unfortunately for Britney, this is not the only court matter related to her on Monday. While the custody battle goes on inside a downtown L.A. courthouse, there is a separate hearing in Van Nuys, Calif., on Monday morning regarding Britney’s driving without a license, stemming from her August hit and run case, which has since been settled.
