That has yet to be declared, though an autopsy is being held in London today.

However, coroner's officer Sharon Duff told reporters that "the scene was investigated by police and determined non-suspicious."

Nevertheless, as is standard with all unexplained or violent deaths, an inquest has been opened into Amy's death. During a two-minute hearing at St. Pancras Coroner's Court today, an official read out Amy's name, birthdate and address and described her as "a divorced lady living at Camden Square NW1." The hearing was adjourned until Oct. 26.

Winehouse's post-mortem examination, which will include histology and toxicology tests, will begin later today.
