It was a good ride for "Chuck" fans, considering the show teetered on the brink of cancellation for most of its television run. But the end has come, and the show, which has been on the air since 2007, filmed its final scene Wednesday.
"Chuck's" two-hour series finale is planned to air Jan. 27, and TV Guide reveals that it will include a surprise guest -- Chuck's mom, Mary Bartowski, played by Linda Hamilton.
What brings Mary back, producer Chris Fedak wouldn't say, but he did talk about the filming of the last show. "There were a lot of tears. It was a very dramatic, tear-filled experience. We have been cherishing each day as we've neared the end," he told TV Guide.
