"She's awesome!" the People magazine covergirl gushed when asked about the newborn.
Something the first-time mama doesn't feel so awesome about? Having her daughter follow in her child star footsteps.
"She's allowed to study, and if she wants to take acting classes or dance classes she's allowed to," Applegate said. "But I have a very strong 'No' when it comes to monetary exchange for your talents until she's 18."
And as for plans to expand the fam in the near future, she quickly answered,"No."
"I'm a month in," she laughed. "This is all I can handle right now!"
