Christina Aguilera stole the show when "The Voice" kicked off its live shows on Monday night. Dressed in a sparkly, sheer body suit, black blazer and matching hot pants, the singer wowed not only with her vocals and dance moves, but also her slimmer figure when she took the stage to sing her new single, "How I Feel," with Flo Rida.
During dance moves reminiscent of her film "Burlesque," Aguilera shimmied out of the blazer to reveal her black bra even more of her slender form.
Fans were quick to praise her look Monday.
As recently as November of 2012, the singer had a fuller curves that had not been completely embraced by fans or fellow celebrities. The star had also been criticized for her weight in the past, with "Fashion Police" co-host Kelly Osbourne calling the singer "fat" on E!'s style show.
But as Aguilera told People, she didn't exactly let the criticism about her body bother her.
"I've always been one to make it very clear: Love me or hate me, take it or leave it, this is who I am," she told the magazine in 2012. "I embrace my body, and I embrace everything about myself."
"Voice" host Carson Daly said on TODAY in July that the superstar had been working on getting healthy when she took last season off.
"She just wanted to get back to eating right and working out, and all of that has just culiminated in a new Christina Aguilera," he said.
"Voice" coach Adam Levine also praised the "Beautiful" singer's new figure during an Oct. 28 appearance on "Tonight Show With Jay Leno." "She looks great. She feels great," the Maroon 5 singer said.
