Guilty Pleasures Week on "Dancing With the Stars" ended on a sad note as one of the more enjoyable contestants was eliminated.
Wrestler Chris Jericho's time in the ballroom ran out Tuesday after he delivered a subpar tango to Journey's "Don't Stop Believin' " Monday night. His performance, which judge Bruno Tonioli described as "cold" and Carrie Ann Inaba said was lacking in passion, received the lowest score of the week, and fan votes weren't enough to save him.

But even though he got the boot, Jericho maintained his sense of humor. "It's actually good timing I got eliminated. I have to fly over to England for the royal wedding," he joked. But the wrestler admitted that this week's tango wasn't his best performance, and that "the only reason I got this far was because of (pro partner) Cheryl. I have a friend for life." Awww! "I haven't seen my kids in four weeks. It's time for Chris Jericho the dancer to step aside, and Chris Jericho the daddy to come back." Double awwww!

It was lucky for Kendra Wilkinson that Jericho had an off week, because once again, she landed near the bottom of the leaderboard with 25 points for her samba. But I must admit, as annoying as her behavior was in the package before her dance (the eyeroll and sticking out her tongue? Bad attitude. Again.), her copious amounts of shimmying and booty shaking were pretty good for the dance, though her technique still needed some work.
Even though it was Wilkinson's best score so far, she had to stand under the spotlights of shame for the first time in weeks. But hey, she was the first one saved! That left poor Ralph Macchio to stand next to Jericho until the final moments.
But going back to the theme of guilty pleasures, "Dancing," you're definitely one of my guilty pleasures, but I didn't need two whole hours of your filler tonight! I also didn't need multiple performances by boy band(s) NKOTBSB, who were never guilty pleasures of mine. (Hey, how about Nelson or Wilson Phillips next season?)
Besides NKOTBSB, the show brought back previous seasons' contestants to chat about what they like about the current crop of hopefuls. Among those who came back (in taped segments only) were Drew Lachey (please have him co-host again!), Gilles Marini, Kyle Massey, Donny Osmond and Jennifer Grey. Oh, and Bristol Palin, too. (Not in an ape suit. Bummer!)
Perhaps the most talked about bit was what host Tom Bergeron called "a diplomatic exchange with 'American Idol.' " That's right, season four contestant Constantine Maroulis was in the house to perform with his "Rock of Ages" Broadway cast! Oh, and Mark Ballas' rumored love interest, Pia Toscano, was in the house too.
She sang "I'll Stand By You" as alleged boyfriend Ballas danced with pro Karina Smirnoff. The performance was just like what Toscano delivered on "Idol" before her surprise elimination on April 7. In other words, she stood glued to the exact same spot as she sang her ballad, which did sound pretty great. (Don't forget what the judges advised on "Idol," Pia! Own the stage!)
"Idol" plus "Dancing." It's guilty pleasure TV heaven.
