If only every administrative assistant's hard work were rewarded with a surprise visit by the celebrity crush of her/his choosing!
That's exactly what "Avengers" star Chris Hemsworth did for one of Ellen DeGeneres' staffers — a Hemsworth super-fan — in a segment posted on her talk show's website late Tuesday. Hemsworth and the host popped up unannounced at the desk of the lucky lady, who froze with phone in hand before replying, "Oh, my."
In honor of Administrative Professionals' Day, DeGeneres told her co-worker that the actor was there to "take care of you today, since you are so used to taking care of other people." (Hemsworth, as that fan certainly knows, plays a secretary in the new "Ghostbusters" movie with a predominantly female cast.)
The shocked staffer, whose cubicle decorations include at least two ripped-out magazine photos of the muscle-bound "Thor" star, received an immediate massage, and did her best to take full advantage of DeGeneres' parameters.
"Can we get naked?" she asked the man People magazine declared "Sexiest Man Alive" in 2014. When DeGeneres reminded her co-worker that Hemsworth is married, the beneficiary (who later admits she's married) relented graciously and told the actor, "And you have beautiful children."
The host also sought clarity on the indecent proposal in question. "When you say, 'Can we get naked?', did you mean me?" the host asked.
"Oh, sure!" the secretary replied, then added in a hushed tone, "Threesome?"
Hilarity ensured as co-workers gathered on the other side of the cubicle wall and laughed as outer-layer articles of clothing were tossed over the top of it. "We're naked!" the secretary claimed to her co-workers, but no video evidence of this exists.
The staffer was also surprised with an all-expenses paid trip to attend the New York City premiere of the new "Ghostbusters" movie, whose wide release is slated for July 16. "You'll probably stay in Chris' room," DeGeneres joked.
Replied the secretary, "I don't have to take my husband, do I?"
DeGeneres countered, "No, [Hemsworth] isn't dating his wife."
