What do you get when you mix Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda Kotb and over 1,000 bottles of wine?

Kathie Lee and Hoda (who recently made Variety's Power of Women list) celebrated the big event Thursday with a fond look back at some favorite memories — and a couple of surprises!
Early on, The Property Brothers popped up with a special video:

Then the ladies looked back at their first guest, Harvey Fierstein, who visited back on April 7, 2008. And yep, he also sent over a video, congratulating the ladies on their "80th anniversary" and noting "we've grown old together ... a morning would not be a morning without you."
Next up: "The Sopranos" alum Steve Schirripa, who took to the streets eight years ago to see if people knew who Kathie Lee and Hoda were and got, well, mixed results. He returned to the streets for the anniversary and got — well, more or less the same responses, aimed at "Kathy Lee Griffith" and "Hoopla."

But then the real celebration started: Mindy Kaling, who'd been on the show earlier, was sitting around sipping wine when the Fourth Hour started.
She brought over a proper present of lace (-covered wine glasses, that is) and linen (a nightgown), since that's the traditional 8th anniversary present (though usually for married couples).
