Looks like Charlize Theron will have to tap into her killer instincts when hosting "Saturday Night Live" this weekend. In one of several promos for the show, cast member Taran Killam reveals that fellow "SNL" player Aidy Bryant is planning a violent showdown with the Oscar-winning star.

A concerned Theron asks why. "I have no idea," Killam stammers. "I've never seen her that angry. She's just saying, like, 'She's not gonna last 'til Saturday. I'm out for revenge.'"

At that point, Killam disappears and Bryant flickers into frame beneath a strobe light, cackling ominously by Theron's shoulder.

With all due respect to Bryant, our money's on Theron. In another teaser for the episode, Killam asks Theron to demonstrate some of the stunts she learned while filming "A Million Ways to Die in the West," in which she portrays a gunfighter’s wife. Theron obliges, knocking Killam to his knees and snapping his neck.

This won't be Theron's first time at the rodeo, either. The star hosted SNL back in 2000.

Catch Theron's fighting spirit — along with musical guest The Black Keys — when the show airs this Saturday at 11:30 p.m. on NBC.
