2015 could be called the year of Hollywood breakups.
From Ben and Jen to Blake and Miranda, it seemed that celebrity breakups were everywhere this year. Here's a brief roundup of the famous couples who may have cried alone to Adele's new album this year:
1. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert
Shelton, 39, and Lambert, 31, broke the hearts of country fans everywhere when they announced their divorce in July after four years of marriage.
"This is not the future we envisioned," they said in a statement at the time. "And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately."
Since the couple's split, both Shelton and Lambert appear to be doing well. Shelton began dating fellow "The Voice" coach Gwen Stefani.Lambert opened up in an interview with Cosmopolitan, saying: "I had a great relationship with an amazing man, so I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted."
2. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale
One of many summer breakups, Stefani, 46, and Rossdale, 50, announced their split after 13 years of marriage in August. In November, after having confirmed she was dating Shelton, Stefani opened up about the breakup in a radio interview, saying: "I wish that all of this wasn't happening, but at the same time, I feel like it was part of my life journey."
In the same interview, Stefani also said she was grateful to have music as her creative outlet. She released the emotionally raw electrosynth ballad "Used To Love You."
3. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner
Affleck, 42, and Garner, 43, called it quits in June after 10 years of marriage. In a statement at the time the couple said: "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time."

They have three children together: Violet Anne, 9, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, 6, and Samuel Garner, 3.
4. Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt
The "Mad Men" star, 44, and his filmmaker girlfriend, 45, who starred together in 2011's "Friends with Kids," announced in September that they were splitting after 18 years of dating.
While Hamm walked the red carpet alone at the 2015 Emmy Awards to dodge questions about the split, Hamm gave Westfeldt a "thanks" when he won for Best Actor in a drama series for his role in "Mad Men."
5. Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green
Fox, 29, filed for divorce from Austin Green, 42, in August, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple met when she was 18 and he was 30, and have two children together: Noah, 3, and Bodhi, 22 months.
In October, Fox shared a rare photo of Bodhi on Instagram, featuring the adorable tot with a big smile and a NIrvana T-shirt.

6. Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting
After just 21 months of marriage, Cuoco, 30, and Sweeting, 28, called it quits. But despite going their separate ways, Cuoco still had to move on from something else — her wedding tattoo.
In November, Cuoco Instagrammed two photos from a tattoo cover-up session that turned her wedding date roman numerals into a large moth on her upper back.
7. Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez
After two years of marriage, Berry and Martinez, both 49, called it quits in October, citing irreconcilable differences at which time they also filed for joint custody of their 2-year-old son. It was the third marriage for Berry, who wed baseball player David Justice in 1993 (divorced in 1997) and married singer-songwriter Eric Benet in 2001 (divorced in 2005)

8. Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick
Kardashian, 36, and Disick, 32, made tabloid headlines with their Labor Day weekend breakup that came after photos showed Disick spending time with a female friend in Monte Carlo. The couple has three children together — Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, who just turned 1.

9. Patrick and Jill Dempsey
The "Grey's Anatomy," 49, and his former wife, makeup artist Jill Fink, announced their divorce in January. In a statement to E! News at the time the then-couple said: "Our primary concern remains the well-being of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family's privacy at this very sensitive time."
10. Charlize Theron and Sean Penn
Theron, 39, and Penn, 54, split in June, shortly after appearing together at the premiere of Theron's film "Mad Max: Fury Road."
Despite the breakup, Theron went on to expand her family this year, adopting a little girl named August over the summer.
11. Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger
Lavigne, 31, and Kroeger, 41, split in September, after a little more than two years of marriage. The "Complicated" singer revealed the news on Instagram, with a sentimental photo of the couple holding hands.
"Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we've created many unforgettable moments. We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other," she wrote in the caption.

12. Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn
Olympic alpine ski racer Vonn and golf great Woods announced their breakup in May, the pair releasing separate statements.
"I have great admiration, respect and love for Lindsey and I'll always cherish our time together," Woods wrote on his website.
On her Facebook page, Vonn wrote: "Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger."
13. Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield
Stone, 27, and Garfield, 32, usually keep their relationship out of the public eye, but news of their breakup broke in October (some outlets reported that the couple had privately called it quits sometime before that).
