Every great superhero needs an arch-nemesis, and Captain America's got a particularly nasty one in the Red Skull, a Nazi weapons expert and terrorist leader personally trained by Hitler. Hugo Weaving dons the maniac's mask in "Captain America: The First Avenger," debuting on Friday. The Red Skull is one of the most dangerous of all comic-book supervillains — but how would he get along with other bad guys from recent movies?

The Joker

Could they be friends? No way. Both these guys show their teeth, but only one is smiling. The Skull dreams of brutal dictatorship, while Batman's nemesis loves anarchy and chaos.

Who'd win in a fight? The Joker. He's got a secret weapon that would demolish the rage-driven Red Skull: He'd laugh at him.

Lord Voldemort

Could they be friends? Harry Potter's nemesis loves his snakes, so he might bond with the Red Skull once he learns HYDRA's symbol is a many-headed serpent. But really, they're both too foul-tempered to get along.

Who'd win in a fight? Tough call. Voldemort's got the whole dark-magic thing working for him. But the Red Skull has his own kind of evil sorcery — the Cosmic Cube, an alien artifact that'll be a major factor in both "Captain America" and the upcoming "Avengers" movie.

Jason from 'Friday the 13th'

Could they be friends? The creepy-looking Red Skull might find fast friendship with serial-killer Jason Voorhees, whose idea of dressing up for a night out on the town involves a machete and a hockey mask.

Who'd win in a fight? In the short run? The Red Skull clobbers Jason. In the long run, though? No matter how many times you kill Jason, he still comes back for more and more terrible sequels.

The Alien and the Predator

Could they be friends?
Yeah, maybe. The Red Skull would love the Alien's acid blood and implacable focus on killing, and he'd appreciate the Predator's obsessive need to prove his superiority by hunting the weak.

Who'd win in a fight? The Red Skull. He's no fool — he'd know that these two extraterrestrial villains hate each other far more than they would hate him. Just pit them against each other and get out of the way.

Mark Zuckerberg

Could they be friends?
The Red Skull heads up terrorist group HYDRA, making him the insidious ringleader of an network of people spanning the entire world. Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook who seems like such a creep in "The Social Network" ... well, kind of does the same thing.

Who'd win in a fight? The Skull, probably — but that depends on how many Facebook Friends Zuckerberg calls in.
