Hot on the heels of his wild ride with Madonna, "Late Late Show" host James Corden gave Bruno Mars a lift in what might just be his funkiest Carpool Karaoke to date.

Corden backed up Mars, who was decked out in a silk shirt and an increasingly cool collection of hats, while the hit maker belted out his hits, including "24K Magic," "Locked Out of Heaven," "Grenade" and, of course, "Uptown Funk."

But the sing-along wasn't limited to Mars' own music.

The showman shared a story about how he got his start in the biz as a 4-year-old Elvis Presley impersonator, and then he curled his lip and sang a rendition of "Jailhouse Rock" fit for a King.

But make no mistake — while Mars started out with Elvis-like ambitions, he's not into a life of rock 'n' roll excess. He has simple needs.

"What do I want in my dressing room? Some booze, water (and) wet wipes," he said.

Corden assured him there's a sexy new song somewhere in that backstage wishlist — and then they sang it!
