Rolling Stones fans lucky enough to have had tickets to see them during the sold out Rock in Rio festival in Lisbon, Portugal, Thursday night saw more than a performance featuring the legendary rockers. They were treated to a truly Boss event.

Just as the Stones broke into their 1972 hit "Tumbling Dice," singer Mick Jagger welcomed another legend to the stage — Bruce Springsteen. Not surprisingly, the crowd went wild.

More than 80,000 fans — including and former president Bill Clinton — saw the duet, which marked only the second performance from the Stones since the death of Jagger's girlfriend, L'Wren Scott, in March.

As for classic match-up, it wasn't the first time Jersey native Springsteen joined the British band for a crowd-pleasing set. In 2012, Springsteen sang the same song with them as part of the Stone's 50th anniversary bash in Newark.

The Rolling Stones are currently in the midst of the European leg of their 14 on Fire tour. The tour moves on to Australia in October.
