Try not to Hold it Against Her -- Britney Spears is just that good.
The Grammy-winner's latest single, "Hold It Against Me," debuted in the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles chart, within just one week of its exclusive release on iTunes, and without any promotion by the pop star -- a feat generally only accomplished by icons of the Michael Jackson and Madonna variety.

The singer's latest hit, which debuted at number one in 19 other countries, is the biggest first week track number for a female artist, breaking a record previously held by country cutie Taylor Swift.
She's also only the second artist ever -- behind Mariah Carey -- to have two consecutive number ones on the Billboard chart (her catchy hit "3" raced to the top in October 2009).
After shattering first-day sales records on iTunes last week, the mom of two, thanked her followers on Twitter.
