Both Kevin Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, and Britney Spears' attorney, Laura Wasser, filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court today which acknowledge the former couple's arrangement for joint legal parental custody of their two children for the month of January.

According to the agreement, Federline will have time with the children three days a week and Spears will be allowed to take the children with her to Florida for a week from January 5-11.

Starting January 12, and for the rest of the month, Federline will have custodial time with the children at Britney's residence on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from noon-4 p.m., with or without Britney present.

Michael Sands, publicist for Federline's attorney, gave Access Hollywood the following statement about the filing.

"Mark Vincent Kaplan, divorce attorney for Kevin Federline, filed a stipulation in Los Angeles Superior Court today which covers the month of January. Kevin will have joint legal custody and the stipulation provides for specific custody periods for Kevin during the month of January with his sons. The stipulation will allow Britney to go to Florida for one week in January with their sons."
