Britney Spears says there was “no lesbian vibe going on” when she apparently tries to kiss Madonna in her new music video.

“Me Against the Music,” the first single off Spears’ latest album, “In the Zone,” features Madonna, and the music video ends with Spears apparently trying to kiss the 45-year-old pop star, who vanishes before Spears can zero in.

Talking to reporters Monday, Spears described Madonna as an “amazing lady,” and dismissed a question about the music video. “It was part of the video we were acting, there was no lesbian vibe going on,” she said.

Madonna and Spears famously locked lips at the MTV Video Music Awards in September.

Spears, 22, is touring Asia to promote her new album. Before her press conference, she briefly posed for the cameras wearing a pink Hanbok, a traditional loose-fitting Korean dress.

“It was beautiful. I felt like a princess,” she said.

She hinted at having eyes for Hollywood. “I would love to win an Oscar, I would love to do it all.”

Spears’ tour of the United States and Canada will kick off in San Diego on March 2.
