Oh, Brian Williams, you never stop with the surprises. Not only are you a talented rapper, courtesy the crack edit team at "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," but you also harbor a secret passion for one of TV's oft-ignored reality gems: "The Bachelorette."

As the "Nightly News" anchor revealed to Seth Meyers on Monday's "Late Night," he and his wife are "up to speed" on the show, and would be watching the ABC series at his daughter's viewing party after he finished with the pre-taped interview.

"We have our own opinions about Andi (Dorfman, the current bachelorette), and ... as (ex-bachelor) Juan Pablo kind of divided us as viewers I think, into separate camps — Juan Pablo was a troubled man — and Andi has a huge choice to make and I think home visits will prove a lot," said Williams. "And after tonight Seth, I think this will be a kind of new era going forward. We'll know more."

Meyers, captivated by the revelation, suggested that Williams could take host Chris Harrison's place as the franchise's host. "It's hard for me not to want you to host 'The Bachelor,'" he said.

Quipped Williams: "There are certain things I couldn't do with a straight face."

"Late Night With Seth Meyers" airs weeknights at 12:35 a.m. ET on NBC. "The Bachelorette" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
