Bradley Cooper is a man of many talents. In addition to his well-established acting abilities, he's fluent in French and he's funny enough to give a seasoned morning show anchor a case of the giggles. But on Monday's "Tonight Show," the "American Sniper" star revealed what might just be his greatest gift at all.

Forget his acting chops, Cooper can really play guitar — air guitar.

"When I was a kid, I had a lot of time on my hands," Cooper explained before launching into what can only be called a perfect air-performance of Neil Young's guitar solo from "Down by the River."

It must be seen to be believed. But there may be one part that's hard to believe even after watching the clip — the actor's hair. Throughout the jam, Cooper sports a visor with a big, bouncy 'do attached, and there's a good explanation for that.

Not only was Monday the evening Cooper unveiled his hidden air-ax talents — it was also the actor's 40th birthday. To honor the big day, host Jimmy Fallon presented him with the "B. Cooper B'Day" headgear.

It may have been Cooper's birthday, but thanks to all the late-night TV fun, viewers were the ones who got the presents.
