Brad Pitt is out digging for his next project.

The actor's Plan B production company is currently in talks to bring the story of the trapped 33 Chilean miners to the big screen, reportedly making a multimillion-dollar offer to not only buy the film rights, but possibly cast some of the miners themselves, according to a Santiago newspaper.

A lawyer who represents the miners, Edgardo Reinoso, told El Mercurio about the possible deal and stated that the Pitt proposal is just one of several that he receives everyday.

However, no agreements will be finalized until a holding company has been established to make sure that any money made off such a deal will be equally distributed among the miners.

Of course, we're guessing Pitt probably has a slight edge over his competitors seeing how the men did request not one, but two of his flicks be sent down to be watched during their 69-day sojourn underground.
