As we head into the nice long Labor Day weekend, what better artist to unofficially send off summer with than country superstar Brad Paisley?
The three-time Grammy winner debuted his new "Country Nation" video on TODAY.com Thursday, and on Friday, he packed the plaza to give us some boot-stompin' good times.
As fans noted, he was "Crushin' It" with his first performance:

When Paisley joined the TODAY team inside for a quick chat, things took a funny turn. Paisley's Twitter introduction notes that he was born in the same year a fictional "crack commando team" (aka "The A-Team") escaped, which led Al Roker to read out the series' classic introductory narration from memory.
Paisley's amazed response: "How did you get married? How did a woman marry you?"
It's that kind of sense of humor, along with his great talent, that led fans to come out in force early on and share rehearsal images:
