Blake Shelton takes on Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves at CMA Awards

Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton and Kacey Musgraves are the leading nominees for the CMA Awards on Nov. 6.

Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves and more top names will gather Wednesday night for what's appropriately billed as country music's biggest night — the 2013 Country Music Association Awards.

Nominees have been selected in 12 categories for the 47th installment of the CMAs. Swift and newcomer Musgraves lead the pack with six nominations each. Shelton, the 2012 entertainer of the year, is nominated in that category again, as well as four others, including album of the year for "Based on a True Story."

The event airs live on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Before the trophies get handed out, take the time to cast your vote in some select categories.

Here's where Musgraves can establish her rightful spot among the heavyweights.

Male vocalist of the year

Entertainer of the year
