Sounds like Christie Brinkley will always be Billy Joel's "Uptown Girl." Twenty years after the couple divorced, the Piano Man serenaded his former love during his Madison Square Garden concert Thursday with the '80s song inspired by her.
The singer, 65, gestured for his film crew to capture the 60-year-old supermodel, who was in the audience, as he sang. A delighted Brinkley was shown on the stage monitors during the catchy, classic tune, bouncing along with the music and flashing her megawatt smile.
"He's still got it! ... #nationaltreasure," Brinkley wrote on an Instagram photo of herself with Sailor Brinkley Cook, the 16-year-old daughter she shares with ex-husband Peter Cook, during the show.
The model also grabbed a more private moment with her ex and kids (her son with Richard Taubman, 19-year-old Jack, also attended) at the venue, and called Joel "an old friend," while her daughter called him "Uncle Bill" on her Twitter account.
Sailor also shared a Vine of their party swaying along as Joel sang "Always a Woman."
Joel is currently playing one show a month at Madison Square Garden.
