O come all ye Bill Murray fans!
Bill Murray has delighted audiences (and TODAY fans) over the years with his acting skills, but come Christmastime, he will bring joy to the world in the form of a holiday TV special in which he will perform classic carols. Sofia Coppola, who directed Murray in "Lost in Translation," one of his best-reviewed films, will helm the special.
Details are few, but Murray did tell Variety "We’re going to do it like a little movie. It won’t have a format, but it’s going to have music. It will have texture. It will have threads through it that are writing. There will be prose.”
Coppola also shared her excitement about the project, saying “Not sure when it will air, but my motivation is to hear him singing my song requests.”
