One of the actresses who played Louise Tate on the classic TV sitcom “Bewitched” has died.

Her name was Kasey Rogers and she had a long career in show business, starting with a series of films for Paramount in the 1940’s. In one of those films -- “Strangers on a Train” -- she was the estranged wife who gets strangled. At the time, she was using the name Laura Elliott.

She went on to appear on a slew of legendary TV shows, including “Perry Mason” and “Adam-12.”

But she’s probably best remembered for “Bewitched,” which ran from the mid 1960’s through the early 1970’s — and then perennially in reruns. She was the second woman to play the wife of advertising executive Larry Tate, who was Darrin Stevens’ boss at the fictional McMahon and Tate agency.

Her companion says Rogers was 80 when she died last week after a stroke.
