White's appearance is sure to give a boost to the well-liked comedy, which is airing against CBS' top-rated "Big Bang Theory" this fall.

In January, White received the 2010 SAG Lifetime Achievement Award, and she hosted "Saturday Night Live" this past spring. Meanwhile, her sitcom on cable network TV Land, "Hot in Cleveland," was renewed for a second season.

This fall, White will appear in the movie "You Again," starring Kristin Bell.
