The red-headed kid who used to write for "The Simpsons" has really moved up in the world. This week, Conan O'Brien takes over Jay Leno's spot on "The Tonight Show," with Will Ferrell as his first guest and Pearl Jam as the first band to appear on the show. (June 1, 11:35 p.m., NBC.)

The third season of "Army Wives" begins this week. The timely show follows the struggles of a diverse group of women (and one man) living with their families on a South Carolina army post. As the season begins, Claudia Joy's family is about to be transferred overseas, and she and her family must struggle with all the change that brings. (Premieres June 7, 10 p.m., Lifetime.)

Movies Are you missing your dose of raunchy R-rated comedy? “The Hangover” tells the story of a bachelor party gone awry when the groom’s three buddies, Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis wake up after a wild night in Vegas to find themselves with no memory of the night before, a missing groom and burdened with a mysterious baby. Directed by Todd Phillips (“Old School”), this film could provide the laughs you’ve been aching for. (In theaters June 5).

What happens when you combine Dave Eggers, Sam Mendes, John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph? You’ll find out if you check out the new indie comedy, “Away We Go,” about a couple (Krasinski and Rudolph) who travel across America looking for a new place to call home. (In theaters June 5)

DVDRoger Ebert wrote, "'Revolutionary Road' shows the American Dream awakened by a nightmare." The doomed couple from "Titanic," Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, reunite for this adaptation of the 1961 Richard Yates novel, with Winslet's husband, Sam Mendes, directing. "(Winslet and DiCaprio) are so good, they stop being actors and become the people I grew up around," raves Ebert. (Out on DVD June 2.)

Music According to Entertainment Weekly, friendships within the Dave Matthews Band had recently soured to the point where they almost called it quits, but luckily the band stayed together to release their new album, “Whiskey and the Groogux King.” The album is in part a tribute to former DMB saxophonist LeRoi Moore, who passed away last August. Moore was able to make contributions to the album before his death. “The lion’s share of the saxophone is LeRoi and we were very careful about that,” Matthews told EW. (On sale June 2)

The genre-hopping Elvis Costello is at again. His latest album, “Secret, Profane & Sugarcane,” is country-flavored and features a duet with Emmylou Harris and a song co-written by Loretta Lynn. The U.K. Guardian gave the album four of five stars and said that Costello is in “fine, lovelorn country form.” (On sale June 2)
