The big screen version of "Baywatch" won't hit theaters until the summer of 2017, but the first cast photos prove the lifeguards are already on duty!

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shared a shot of his "squad" of co-stars — including Zac Efron, Jon Bass, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach and Ilfenesh Hadera — and teased the beach-side action to come.

"Are we bad ass? Yes. Do we save lives? All day. Are we a dysfunctional family? Epically. Do we have fun? F*** YES," the star and producer wrote on Instagram.

Bass re-shared the same shot with his followers, but he seemed bewildered about his place in the "bad ass" group in their bathing suits.

"I somehow was able to sneak into this photo with a bunch of beautiful people and they let me stay and be in a movie called 'Baywatch,'" he joked. "[Very] confused with what's going on but everyone has been very nice and saying I'm doing a good job."

Efron posted another group pic to Facebook, referring to the bunch as "the strongest, fastest and flyest lifesavers in the game."

They'll have a little help from a veteran life saver. Classic "Baywatch" leading man David Hasselhoff will also make an appearance in the flick, and just last week, Johnson gave a sneak peak of their dueling buff bodies on the shore.
