Wednesday is Canada Day, and Canadian rockers Barenaked Ladies stopped by TODAY to get the first-of-July fun off to a great start!

The quartet, who've been in the biz for nearly 30 years, kicked things off by performing their 1998 megahit "One Week."

When he wasn't at the mic, co-founder and co-frontman Ed Robertson sat down with the TODAY's Take gang to share some Canada Day sentiments — and a tale about one of his favorite celebrity encounters.

Later in the show, the band returned with a number off their latest album "Silverball," called "Duct Tape Heart."

Fan Hoda Kotb couldn't resist moving to the music.
