It looks like there'll be no more roses for Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell.

The final couple from season 18 of "The Bachelor" have split, Us Weekly reports, and social-media messages sent by Galavis and Ferrell over the weekend seem to confirm the news.

Ferrell, who has repeatedly defended their relationship since the controversial finale episode aired, took to Instagram to post a veiled dig.

"Nope, not one single second," she added in the caption.

Her followers were quick to conclude she was talking about Galavis. "The red flags were there from the beginning when he couldn't tell you he loved you," one fan wrote. "I hope next time you don't settle for someone that can't give you their all."

On Sunday, Galavis tweeted an equally vague message.

Us Weekly reported that the pair also unfollowed each other on social media after the split.

The couple became one of the most buzzed-about pairs on ABC dating shows in recent years, thanks in part to Galavis refusing to confirm on-air that he was in love with Ferrell, and his sexual statements to finalist Clare Crawley. He also made controversial off-show remarks about homosexuals and those with intellectual disabilities.

When contacted by TODAY, ABC could not confirm the breakup because Galavis and Ferrell are no longer on the show.
